Interesting Japanese wakizashi sword. Straight blade with dragon carving on one side and two grooves on the other.Blade length 16 inches, couple of dings in the tip, see picture. Copper habaki and brass and silver tsuba and fuchi. Kashira missing. Solid wood ribbed hilt with brass dome pins. Unable to remove blade from hilt.Total length 22 inches. No saya.Think early blade.DateLate 17th Century
