We are proud to present a unique early 18th-century domed veneered walnut chest on stand, boasting a fascinating provenance that connects it to Nostell Priory, a Grade I listed building and one of the greatest houses in the north of England.

This remarkable piece, dating back to the very beginning of the 18th century, showcases exceptional colour and patina. The interior features oak drawer linings. The quality of this piece is evident in the beautifully matched veneers and herringbone banding that adorn the exterior.

This chest represents the transition between the William & Mary period and the early Queen Anne period, reflected in its elegant design elements. It is of exceptional quality, with every detail meticulously executed. The piece is complemented by brass pear drop handles.
