Description

A compact and highly practical mahogany collector’s cabinet of two-stage form, designed for the orderly storage of small items and specimens. The upper section is enclosed by a pair of finely paneled doors which open to reveal a fitted interior of multiple shallow drawers, each retaining inset brass campaign-style handles—ideal for organising coins, medals, documents, or other collectible objects. The lower section, similarly enclosed by panelled cupboard doors, provides additional storage for larger pieces or associated materials.
The cabinet is crisply detailed throughout, with a dentil-moulded cornice lending a classical architectural character, while the stepped plinth base grounds the form with a sense of balance and permanence. The rich mahogany veneers display a warm, consistent tone, complemented by polished brass side carrying handles and working locks with keys, underscoring both its functionality and quality.
