Description

This attractive scoop looks to be a cheese or marrow scoop. It is fully hallmarked on the back for the American firm Gorham, and is also marked 'sterling' and 'patent 1902'. The scoop is engraved at the top of with initials that look to be JHL. The piece weighs approx. 92g (3ozt).

Condition: Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age. There is some surface scratching and wear, and some tarnishing and surface corrosion. There is some wear around the edges of the scoop.
