Description

This attractive stool dates from the first part of the nineteenth century. It has what we believe to be an oak frame and has an upholstered top. The legs have lovely chamfered edges. It would benefit from some tlc.

Condition: Overall this stool does require some restoration work. There is some scuffing, scratching, knocking and wear to the woodwork as might be expected, which is heavy in places, and the piece is overall faded. There is some movement in the joints. The lower stretcher is a replacement and has not been well-fitted, there is some wood loss around the joins. The upholstered top is badly stained and is sunken - it would benefit from reupholstery.

49cm high, 47cm wide, 35cm deep (to maximums).
