Description

Artist - A. Yoshida. Not much is known about this artist, but he/she is believed to be of Japanese origin and was working before the Second World War.

Title - Untitled

Details - Watercolour on to paper. Attractive river scene featuring what appears to be a fishing boat in the foreground with a single figure, and a hut / house to one side on the river bank. Well done. Not mounted or framed.

Condition - Overall in good condition with good colours. The painting looks to have been taken out of a mount at some point and has some scuffing around the edges and brown mounting tape attached to the back aroound the edges. The paper has some discolouration and foxing (brown spotting).

The approx. measurements are as follows:
33.5cm by 50cm.
