Description

This lovely spirit kettle dates from the late nineteenth century. It is marked on the base of the kettle with the Army & Navy Co-operative Society Ltd. mark. The kettle has lovely chased floral decoration around the edge and a removable lid. The wooden lid and the handle are beautifully ring turned. The kettle retails its decorative tri-footed base and burner. A nice decorative piece.

Condition: Overall in very good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. The kettle has some minor dents and knocks around the body. The burner also has some minor denting, and we believe there are some parts of the burner missing. There is some tarnishing in places.

The approx. dimensions are as follows:
30cm high (kettle on stand) 20cm high (kettle, including handle).
