Description

This lovely pewter tazza has a hand-hammered finish and is a hand-made piece. We would estimate it to date from the first half of the twentieth century. The edges have a nice hammered flower motif, but there are no maker's marks. The tazza is supported on a triangular pedestal with a round base. It appears to have a laquered finish.

Condition: Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There are some manufacturing imperfections as might be expected from a hand-made piece and some slight misshaping in places. There is some surface scratching and knocking and some grubbiness and slight surface corrosion.

14cm high, 13cm diameter of top.
