Description

This antique pew has been cut and converted at some point into a corner pew. It is constructed from solid pitch pine and is very heavy. It has shaped ends and a panelled back, and retains its Bible rail on the back.

Condition: Overall this attractive piece is in good usuable condition but does have some wear and grubbiness consistent with age and use. There is some quite heavy scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the piece is overall a little faded, much more so to one length than the other. It would benefit from being painted or refinished. There are some paint marks and some areas of minor wood loss. The foot rails underneath have been removed.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
Overall - 95cm high, 183cm wide one way, 141cm wide the other way, 53cm deep (to maximums) 42cm high to seat.
