Description

This lovely pair of cufflinks look to date from the turn of the twentieth century. There are no maker's marks. The cufflinks have metal backs and chains (with no hallmarks) and domed glass fronts with fox heads painted inside. The cufflinks are retained within a leather jewellery box - we are unsure whether this is original but the cufflinks fit nicely.

Condition: Overall in good condition, with some wear consistent with age. There is some tarnishing to the metalwork and some surface scratching and knocking to the glass fronts. The box is a little grubby and discoloured and the top does not quite sit flush with the base.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
1.5cm diameter.
