A lovely Silver Desk set c1920s with Calendar, Inkwell and dip pen set on a clear glass base
The Hallmarks on the Calendar and inkwell all date to around 1924-26, calendar made by W.Wilmot and the inkwell by Mappin and Webb of Birmingham
Both these are in excellent codition, calendar works fine setting the date , all the months are correct,nice sliding top to the inkwell and inner pot all nice and clean no cracks
The beatuful pattern dip pen is french made and would be earlier in date more 1890s in excellent condition with 14ct gold covered nib
Glass bottom does have a few surface scratches with use but in no way soils this lovely set
Lovely silver desk set would make a great presant for someone
