Antique Sterling Silver Jewellery Casket, Box

Description
A beautiful antique Art Nouveau sterling silver jewellery casket.Oval shaped with a lightly scalloped rim to the lid, it stands raised on four decorative paw type feet.
It has a small lip for ease of opening, inside the base is lined with a dark beige velvet.
Hallmarked on the inner of the lid with short hallmarks and in the rim Birmingham, 1919, makers mark is worn.
The underside has a leather covered card base.
Ideal for storing small jewellery items, a very pretty piece, heavy and well made.
Condition:
Good condition overall some small dings to the lid, a small hole to the front where the lid meets the rim, hard to see unless up close, the base is very loose and wobbly and the leather has a small crack in it.
