A superior quality Victorian oak and silver plated three bottle tantalus with original cut crystal decanters C.1880.
The polished oak base and shaped sides with silver plated mounts and three velvet lined recesses to hold the decanters. Silver plated frame above forming the carrying handle and supporting the unusual locking bar mechanism to the top folding over to release the decanters, working lock and key to the side bearing the makers name' Hobbs London'.
Original fine quality cut crystal decanters with matching stoppers in mint condition.
Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine and original patina, the metalwork in perfect condition. Measures 15" wide x 6" deep x 12" high. Stock number 36126.
