A matching pair of top quality late Victorian arm chairs with carved show frames and superb hide upholstery c.1890. The substantial and well shaped frame with decorative carved show frame to the bases forming an apron, superbly detailed claw and ball feet to the front and rear in solid walnut. The original horse hair upholstery recovered to a high standard in top quality soft dark brown hide with brass stud work edges. Very comfortable and useable. Each measures 38" high to top of back x 31.5" maximum width x 26" deep x 19" seat height. Stock number 37030.
