Description

A George III period mahogany cheese coaster c.1800. Cradle shaped solid mahogany with turned pateras to each scroll end. Sat on a fixed moulded edge base with turned feet and green baize undersides. Originally for rounds of cheese to sit on a table top. Superb rich colour and patina. Measures 17.5" wide x 9" deep x 7" high.
