Description

A George V period solid silver sugar canister with engraved wording to the lid, hallmarked Birmingham 1917. Circular form with domed top including the word 'Sugar' engraved in decorative script. The canister includes inverted sides to aid opening and the two sections of the container form an air tight fit and pull apart to reveal a clean interior. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Cornelius Saunders & Frank Shepherd. The ultimate picnic item! Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 2.5" diameter x 1" deep.
