A Fine George II period country oak chest on stand.c.1750. Two short over three long drawers to the moulded cornice top. Burr oak cross banding to each. Sat on the original three drawer base with a shaped apron to the centre. Standing on cabriole legs. Fruitwood and ebony inlaid throughout. Original brass fittings. Superb mid oak colour and original patina. Measures 44.5"wide x 22" x 60"high.
