Sylvie Collett - Sewantiques

Description

Tortoiseshell coin purse with beautiful gold and silver inlay further embellished with two tiny turquoises. The frame is brass. The condition is very good with minor nibbles to the edges of the tortoiseshell panels and some discolouration to the pink silk lining. The catch works perfectly and the hinge is sound. It dates to around 1870 and measures approximately 3" x 2 1/2".
