Sylvie Collett - Sewantiques

Description

The early 19th century sewing set is in it's original fitted case. The beautifully worked tools are silver but, as usual with sewing implements of this date, is unmarked. It's very much in the style of Joseph Taylor. It's in excellent condition apart from the thimble. Sadly that has a lot of wear and a couple of needle holes but it does look to be original to the set. The tools are thimble, stiletto, bodkin and scissors in a sheath. The case measures approximately 4 1/2" x 2 1/2".
