French Silver Needle Case C1840

Description

Pretty French silver needle case dating to around 1840. It has the boar's head mark which I've tried to show in the photos. That mark was used from 1838 and from the style of the needlecase I'd date it to the start of that period. It's in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. The needlecase measures 3 1/2" long when closed.
I prefer payment by bank transfer, details on request.
I regret that due to current regulations I am unable to ship ivory items to the United States, even though all items are CITES compliant.

Items under 2kg can be mailed free of charge to UK mainland addresses by Royal Mail Special Delivery which will insure the item for up to £500. Please contact me for shipping costs to overseas destinations or for more expensive or heavier items.
