Description

Unusual boxwood snuff shoe or boot. The carving of the laces is particularly well done. It's in fair condition with some scuffs as can be seen in the photos and the lid is very loose - possibly a replacement? Not sure. However, it is an unusual form and one I haven't had before. I'd date it to the late Georgian period.
