This Beautiful Victorian Burr Walnut and Rosewood Sewing Table is in good condition with an Octagonal, Burr Walnut & Cross Banded Veneer edged Lift up Top which is Lockable to which there is a Key, opening to reveal an Original Segmented Interior, fitted with Two compartment lids and a Deep Central Rosewood Trumpet also with a lid, all coming to rest upon a tripod base with Carved Leaf Knees decoration and Scrolled Leaf Pattern Feet. The Sewing Table has the Original Paper Lining, Good Solid Legs sitting Square and True, a New Lock has been fitted to which there is a key, One of the Lids has been recovered at some point in matching purple material, there are a couple of small cross banding veneers missing on the edge of the top as can be expected with any piece of furniture of this age and use, however this does not detract from the lovely aesthetics of this beautiful piece of furniture with great Colour and Patina.
