Description

This superb Victorian Mahogany and Ash Glazed Bookcase is in great Condition with a Carved and Scroll Pediment sat above a lovely Cornice with shaped Corbels either side of a Pair of Glazed Doors with Original glass and working Lock to which there is a Key opening to reveal Three Dog Tooth Adjustable Shelves. The Base is separate to the Top for ease of transportation, with Two Small Drawers of Dovetailed construction fitted with Brass Cup Handles sat below a Rectangular Ash Top. Below the Drawers are a pair of Doors adorned with lovely Carved Central Panel having a working Lock with Key, opening to reveal a Single Fixed Shelf. The Top Pediment is screwed on and can be removed if to high for the room, as the Bookcase looks fine without.
