Antique Victorian Bronze inkwell modelled as a Grotesque Devil Figure which is bolted to a slate base. The ears are apertures for pens and the lid lifts for the inkpot. Unfortunately the liner is missing.DateVictorian

Height without base 7 cm or 2 3/4 inches
ConditionIn good antique condition with natural patina. There is a little rubbing to the patina where the lid meets the baseand to the chin. The slate base does have a some chips to the edges.
