Description

Here we have a Yorkshire longcase clock by William Henry Sykes of Heckmondwike, the clock is a 30 hour weight driven movement and is cased in an inlaid Mahogany case with a broken swan neck pediment.

The dial is hand painted with country scenes and has the maker's name and town on and there is also a working subsidiary second hand and is in full working order keeping good time and striking on the appropriate hour.

It is in good overall condition, small loss of veneer to the top of door arch, original glass.
