Here we have a very rare item indeed in the form of a Luthiers apprentice piece violin, an exact miniature replica of a full size violin made by an apprentice to showcase their craftsmanship, it is presented in it's original fitted case and is German in origin and dates to around 1850, both the violin and case have a wonderful aged patina and this rare item would make a wonderful gift to any violin player.
