Description

A nice pair of silver ashtrays in an original presentation case by Turner and Simpson Ltd., fully marked for Birmingham, 1961. The ashtrays present a square form and engine turned decoration. The company was founded in 1912, at the top of Legge Lane in the heart of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, and ceased trading in 1979.

Condition:
In excellent condition with the expected wear commensurate with age. The date and town marks are a little rubbed but still eligible. The case is in very good condition.
