Description

A Chinese export silver rectangular cigar box, engraved with dragons on a finely textured and hammered ground, with a hinged cover and cedar wood lining. Probably Shanghai, c1920. Stamped SILVER. It retains old retailer's labels.

Length: 12 cm | Height: 4 cm | Depth: 8.8 cm | Weight: 297 g.

Condition:
The silver box is in very good condition, with the expected wear consistent with age and use. On the bottom, it presents two minor digs. The wood is in excellent condition with no cracks.
