Description

This is a wonderful Liberty pewter and enamel dish, attributed to the great Archibald Knox.

It has a shaped oval form, the edges pierced with clover leaves. The pierced handles have heart motifs and there is a gorgeous, rich blue and green enamel disc at the centre. The base is stamped 0287.

There are a few marks on the pewter which I'm sure can be cleaned off but as I'm no expert in pewter, I have left well alone.
