The Silver Cabinet

Description

This is a lovely, unusual solid sterling silver cake slice.

it carries the hallmarks for Amsterdam 1937, with the maker's mark of the Zaanlandse Zilversmederij. It is trowel shaped with a scroll handle. The upper part of the slice shows a Dutch family scene of parents, two children, a baby and a dog and the narrower end is scrolled with flowers. The hallmarks are at the base of the family scene. A very pretty and useful item.
