For sale today we have this Outstanding Example of a Doulton Lambeth "Deer Herd" Vase by Hannah Barlow. A very fine large vase, it features an artistically incised panel of grazing and resting deer (including 2 fine stags) set against a rough moorland background with wintry leafless trees, this is framed and enhanced beautifully by the fine geometric patterned and flowing borderwork. 14 1/2" tall. Stamped with a Doulton Lambeth Rosette mark. Incised HBB-915 for Hannah Barlow with FCR for the assistant Florence C Roberts. Dates to the 1890's.
