Description

For sale today we have this super example of a Moorcroft Flambe Leaf and Berry cup and saucer. A very well decorated example with continuous bands of Autumnal leaves and ripe berries to both the cup and the saucer while the inside of the cup has further berry decoration. The Flambe finishing glaze is a very well judged combination of deep red "Sang-de-Bouef" and a paler chestnut flambe. Overall, a very characterful piece.

W Moorcroft, Potter to HM the Queen mark to the saucer while the cup has the added bonus of still bearing it's original paper label. 13cm dia x 7cm tall.
