Description

For sale today we have this fabulous and most unusual Doulton Lambeth vase by Eliza Simmance. Featured in the Richard Dennis exhibition of 1971 (cat no 197), the vase features an exotic design of birds chasing butterflies through tall and leafy bamboo canes. Coloured to blue, yellow and green, very much in the Aesthetic style.

28cm tall, Doulton Lambeth mark with date 1879. Incised non conjoined ES 687 for Eliza Simmance.
