Alexander Ritchie of Iona Arts and Crafts Glasgow Style Brass Wall MirrorA fine & rare example of a large size arts & crafts Glasgow style hand hammered brass circular wall mirror by Alexander Ritchie of Iona c1900.
Hand hammered in brass with a viking ship in full sail with stylised Glasgow style plant forms interlaced with Celtic revival entrelac knot work the circular wall mirror is a striking example of Ritchie's designs and a tour de force of Scottish arts and crafts metalwork.

Size: 57cm diameter
Condition: The mirror frame is in superb original condition retaining its original bevelled mercury glass mirror plate. There is a very minor black spot to the mirror silvering in the bevelling only at the very bottom of the mirror plate mentioned for accuracy only.
