Description

An Art Deco Yardley powder compact with the original pale powder and puff. Powder pans measuring 5 cm diameter and up to a depth of 6 mm will fit this compact mirror. The compact is in good condition. The finish on the gilt lid is satinized. The small plaque on the lid is decorated with the Yardley Lavender Seller logo. The mirror gives a good reflection - it has some age spots which in no way detract from the appeal of this item. The base is decorated with an engine turned design of fine spirals and signed 'Yardley LONDON'. Measures 2" and weighs 43.8 grams.
