An elegant Edwardian ladies solid silver card case. This finely executed J. Gloster piece is fully hallmarked and was assayed at Birmingham in 1903. An absolutely stunningly beautiful Edwardian accessory which will hold business cards measuring 81 mm x 52 mm or less. There aren't any dings or dents and the whole item is in superb condition. The catch and hinge work perfectly. One side features a circular cartouche which is signed 'J. Binnie' in elegant script. Measures 8.7 cm x 5.8 cm and weighs 67.8 grams. This item comes with an immaculate velvet pouch to protect it.
