A beautiful Italian solid silver powder compact which was crafted in the 1950s. This mid-century vanity is ideal as a handbag mirror or for use with loose face powder. The original pink down puff and sifter are included, as well as an immaculate pouch. Ornate scrollwork and floral motifs adorn the lid and base. The compact is hallmarked and in very good condition. The mirror bezel is stamped '800' silver. The hinge and catches perfectly. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. Measures 6.3 cm x 6 cm and weighs 52.4 grams.
