A delightful sterling silver and enamel compact mirror which would make an ideal 25th anniversary / silver wedding gift. This piece is fully hallmarked sterling silver crafted by Henry Clifford Davis in 1963. The enchanting lid decoration depicts a bouquet of hand painted flowers which include white forget-me-nots, a lovely cornflower and wild roses. The compact is in very good condition. The enamel does not have any fading or losses. No dings to the silver. This lovely vanity is suitable for use with all loose face powder as well as many pressed foundation brands. All standard sizes of pressed face powder will fit this compact. For example Max Factor Creme Puff and Rimmel Stay Matte. The mirror gives a good clear reflection. The hinge and catch work perfectly. The sifter is included as well as a pristine pouch. Measures 7.2 cm. Weighs 89.9 grams.
