A charming mid-century powder compact which is ideal for use with all loose foundation. The lid features a lovely orange-pink floral display on a golden satinized background. This unused compact mirror was crafted in the 1950s by the premier British maker. The original sifter gauze is present as well as a pristine pouch. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The compact is signed Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND. The catches and hinges work well. The base has a finely engraved spiral design. Measures 3 inches diameter. Weighs 92.4 grams.
