An adorable unused Stratton powder compact with a hand painted depiction of magnolia in full bloom. This lovely accessory is ideal for all loose powder. This piece dates to the late 1940s. The lid is decorated with a gilt satinized finish.

This Stratton Scone compact has a good mirror which gives an accurate reflection. The mirror bezel and inner lid are signed Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND.

The original presentation box, felt pouch, fabric puff, sifter and guarantee rosette are present. The catches and hinges work perfectly. Measures 3 inches diameter. Weighs 89.5 grams.
