An excellent 1950s Stratton vanity set embellished with one of the most well known Stratton brand bird scenes. Both the powder compact and lipstick holder are decorated with lustrous cobalt blue enamel. Two swans are shown in fine detail. There isn't any loss of design or fading. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection.

The Stratton Convertible compact is fitted with the original accessories, as seen in the images. The compact is signed Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND. Measures 3 inches diameter. Weighs 94.1 grams.

This compact is ideal for use with all loose foundation and pressed foundation pans measuring 59 - 67mm diameter. The lipstick holder contains the original leaflet.
