A hard to find unused 1950s Stratton mirror compact. The enchanting lid is decorated with a lovely and subtle glitter effect. This is not like glitter which is used in crafting. It is sound and does not shed because the the compact is lacquered. A small bouquet carnations with green foliage grace the lid. The whole compact is decorated with a gilt finish which will prevent tarnishing. This compact will not need any cleaning to retain its pleasing appearance. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The original mirror stickers are in place.

The original presentation box, pouch, mirror stickers puff and sifter are present. The clasps and hinges work perfectly. Measures 3 inches diameter. Weighs 64 grams.
