Such a delightful vintage white and gold compact mirror which dates to the 1950s. The lid is embellished with a golden embroidered rose. This gorgeous compact is in excellent condition. An ornately engraved frame surrounds the floral motif .

The original pouch, puff, sifter, care guide and presentation box are present.


This compact is suitable for use as a handbag mirror, for all loose face powder and also with pressed foundation pans measuring 67mm diameter.

The interior contains a mirror which gives an accurate and good reflection. There is a small slight age mark on the edge of the bottom of the mirror. The mirror frame is signed REGENT OF LONDON MADE IN ENGLAND. The base has a finely engraved engine turned design. Measures 7.2 cm diameter. Weighs 57.6 grams. The makers lacquered this accessory and so it will not tarnish or need to be cleaned.
