A delightfully pretty unused vintage Stratton powder compact which was crafted in the 1950s. Needlepoint floral motifs are depicted on lovely white georgette which is framed by an elegant engraved gleaming brass lid surround. The original protective wrapper, box, pouch, puff, sifter are included. The whole item was lacquered by the maker and so it will never tarnish or need to be cleaned. The compact is signed STRATTON MADE IN ENGLAND on the mirror bezel and Stratton on the inner lid. The mirror gives a good clear reflection. The catches and hinges work perfectly. Measures 3 inches diameter. Weighs 90 grams.

Ideal for loose foundation, as a handbag mirror or addition to a collection.
