A gleaming Stratton compact with a gold plated lid and base. The lid is decorated with a delightful engine turned design. The compact is lacquered and so it will not tarnish or need to be cleaned. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The catch and hinge work perfectly. The original presentation box, pouch, puff, leaflet and sifter are included - all in good condition. There aren't any traces of face powder. The base is signed Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND. Measures 8.2 cm diameter. Weighs 103 grams.

This compact is suitable for use as a handbag mirror, for all loose foundation & pressed foundation pans measuring 59-67 mm diameter.
