A charming antique silver christening gift. This delightful fully hallmarked sterling silver chatelaine purse was imported into London in 1902 where it was assayed (tested) for purity. The sponsor's mark is A A & Co. The hallmarks are clear and unworn. This antique mesh purse is sterling silver throughout. The purse is fully hallmarked in multiple places. The condition is superb. There aren't any missing links.

Measures 7cm from the closure to the bottom of the purse. 4.8 cm wide. Weighs 30.7 grams. Length including the chain handle 12 cm.
