An enchantingly beautiful fully hallmarked antique locket which was assayed (tested for purity) at Chester in 1908. One side of this delightful locket pendant is embellished with florid acanthus leaves, ivy leaves and a heart shaped cartouche. The other side is adorned with ivy and acanthus leaves. The hallmarks are unworn and easy to read.

Ivy leaves symbolise devotion, loyalty and also wedded bliss. Acanthus leaves represent longevity and immortality.

The locket is suspended from an elegant 18 inch necklace. The interior of the locket is fitted with the original frames, photographs and clear portrait protectors. The catches and hinges work perfectly.
