An enchantingly beautiful Kigu Bolero loose foundation powder compact which is presented with the original puff and sifter. The makers described this style as a sea-shell design with gilt barley-corn panels. The other panels are adorned with highly ornate engravings. The middle panel is also decorated with blank cartouche (initial panel). Barley-corn engravings also grace the base of this compact. The inner lid is embellished with stunning guilloche engraving and the Kigu trademark. The powder well is coated with the original protective coat of white enamel. The catches and hinges work perfectly. A gleaming golden compact in good condition. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. An immaculate pouch is included. Measures 9 cm long. Weighs 84 grams.
