An enchantingly beautiful solid silver powder compact which was crafted by Renzo Cassetti in the 1950s. The original sifter and puff are present and so this fully hallmarked silver compact can be used with all loose foundation. The lid and base are decorated with splendid bright-cut engraving. The lid is embellished with four forget-me-not flowers and acanthus leaves. Acanthus leaves represent ever lasting life. The bevelled mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. There is a very slight haze on the mirror in some lighting conditions. Whereas in different light it looks clear. The clasps and hinges work perfectly. Measures 9.4 cm wide. Weighs 107 grams. An immaculate black velvet pouch is included.
