An enchantingly pretty 1950s Kigu compact in very good condition. This vintage compact mirror is ideal for with all loose foundation, as a handbag mirror or a cherished display collectible. The original sifter is included.

The compact is embellished with guilloche engraving on the lid, interior and base. The inner lid bears the Kigu registered trademark.

The all gilt jeweller's finish was coated at the point of manufacture with a layer of transparent enamel so that it will never tarnish or need to be cleaned.

All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The mirror gives a clear and accurate reflection. Measures 7 cm diameter. Weighs 79.2 grams.
